me in the store, buying new linseed oil: ah it will be fine, no need to check manufacture date, it‘s never been all that bad
me at home, eating some of it:
*instant regret*
a wild CAPITAL ẞ appeared!
(i just like the capital ß and wanted to draw one, but letters don't like being lonely so i drew the rest of the word to accompany it, so now you can see it here lounging around in its natural habitat :3)
hi all, so i won't be at #38c3 – i did try to get a ticket, but in the end the motivation (and luck) just weren't there for me to spend 180€ for the chance to attend an event that i might leave on day 1 or 2 just because the infection risk is too high for me.
that said, if you know of a cool alternative event that's perhaps a bit more welcoming to people who can't afford to get covid (if only by being less packed), i would love to hear about it!
gyeh, guess who just took a good nose of some white mystery pan fumes *cough*
induction is great and all until you inadvertently decenter the wok and it starts heating the side of the thing (?? can it do that?) where there's no food, and then you wonder why the water vapor is now crawling up the side of the wok towards you instead of going straight up, and then you breathe in and realize that it was indeed going straight up, into your nose, and that it wasn't water vapor at all
