Working on a side project, which means doing frontend. Even once you factor in using Livewire which takes away a lot of the worst of it, it still feels like monkeys and typewriters a lot of the time. I guess there's a workflow like TDD which works on the frontend, and I just need to seek it out...

@malarkey that’s the key isn’t it - it’s fine to restrict access to your platform, it’s your platform. But to not even tell anyone after the event, to not even own the decision? That’s just a shit way to behave.
@marcjenkins yeah, I know. The whole thing with cutting off Tweetbot etc. and not even telling anyone what they were doing was the final straw. I mean, cutting off third-party clients is fair enough, but the complete lack of comms about it, not owning the decision, is reprehensible.
I love Christmas, but I can’t help feeling that somehow it’s become too stressful/complicated. Got to find a way to keep the good things about it but reduce the stress for next year.
