Avatar: The Way of Water was a worthy sequel to the first. I quite enjoyed it. Truly spectacular filmmaking and the final hour of action was fantastic. I still don’t really emotionally connect to either of the Avatar movie’s stories though, which is a disappointment. But dang they’re impressive.
It’s also a movie where I left it thinking I’d probably only see it once in theaters. But now two days later I keep thinking about it, considering watching it again in theaters for the spectacle alone.
