The new iOS is still somewhat of a mess. While the liquid glass elements have gotten more legible, I now see a weird inconsitency in the keyboard. Apps that aren’t up to date show the old non-rounded keyboard with a slight shadow on each key. Newer apps the rounded, flat looking keyboard. I am a bit surprised on how drastic this yet „tiny“ difference feels. It took me a second or two to recognize, but something felt off instantly when glancing at it. #ios26 #apple #keyboard

Just installed the iOS 26 Beta for a test drive on my spare iPhone and while the glassy look is fancy to some degree, it makes things poorly visible. I am sure a lot of people will have troubles reading text on such transparent layers and generally finding small icons with bad contrast. #ios26 #apple #wwdc25 #accessibility
