Banks wonder why people distrust them. And then proceed to send you 46 page documents of terms and conditions printed with a tiny font size and into columns making it super hard to read. 😒

I'm a bit worried that should Musk really step down as Twitter's CEO, things here on Mastodon will get a lot quieter again. People will flock back to Twitter as if nothing ever happened.

I hope I'm wrong. 😅

So I've noticed that most of my recent posts have gathered next to no interaction, which brings back the “screaming into the void” vibes I already disliked on other social media platforms. Now I'm wondering why. 🤔

It could be that my content is boring, but could it also be because I'm on .social? I read about it being blocked / muted by other instances. 🤔

Or is it more of a timezone thing? 😅

Thoughts would be appreciated. 😊

Sometimes I think my obsession with #FOSS is unreasonable and maybe I'm just a bit paranoid over things that don't really matter. Then I look at things like twitter, or the dad who had his whole google account deleted over some telemedicine photos of his kid and I am reminded of how important it is to support projects that have the peoples' best interests at heart and not the wealthy shareholders' (or dictators') best interests at heart
