I am Jewish and my least favorite Discourse right now is Jews arguing with other Jews over who is more Jewish and who gets to decide what is antisemitic.
Give whoever wrote this headline a medal

Wrote my last-ever tweet last night, and dang

feels good

Thanks for being a beautiful new world, #mastodon

#fckAFD macht das Denken schwer.

We haven't hit rock bottom on that misery mine yet.

Nope, you're not wrong. The counter-counterargument falls down when you introduce data that suggests the spending isn't $3 -- productions largely operate like a traveling circus, they bring their labor and stuff in, shoot the movie, and mosey on (even when they may maintain a physical presence in the form of a studio lot, etc.).

Same argument and data as is to be found regarding public funding for sporting venues. TLDR: The public ROI isn't there.

It's sometimes hard to remember how recently it was - in living memory for many of us - that trans-oceanic communication (and travel) was still somewhat exotic, unreliable, expensive, and, just a bit, romantic.

Adding: I am a person who sees no problem with lots and lots of justices: It would mean that they sit in panels, can hear more cases.

We have had 9 justices since the population was a small fraction of what it is now.

It is too much power for each person. One branch of government divided 9 ways with lifetime appointments is too much.

@nixCraft I really don't feel this is bigger downgrade than ditching replaceable battery.
My girlfriend's phone lacks jack so we purchased USB-C to jack for connecting to a car radio and we both use it as it firmly holds on cable and both our phones are able to pass sound through USB-C

Secure men can't be emasculated.

Secure men don't need to prove their "manliness".

Secure men aren't afraid of doing things differently or accepting a different role.

Secure men aren't worried that people know they like things up their butts.
