Few people really care about Maduro. What most of us care about is Venezuela, and how it's getting destroyed by the US. Maduro is not going to look like a dictator as much as a national hero, when the US starts treating Venezuela as a colonial subject. There's no freedom in having a foreign power rule your government (even via a local puppet, people are just going to be alienated by the puppet who will face massive internal resistance)
