That’s not really what I said, what I said is that there are places to be either way, and that the internet should not be strictly about being the way you described. I think a slight misunderstanding was had there.

It’s not more apt at all. You’re trying to draw a parallel to an entirely different thing and use that as a “gotcha” but they’re just not the same things. The core of the arguments is not the same, this is frankly an extremely childish take.

I already know trans people personally. Frankly speaking, none of them are as conceited or wildly easy to offend as trans people that you find on the internet. These people are totally fine having arguments and conversations about this stuff, I’ve seen it lol they never get offended they just stay calm and collected and talk to others and try to figure it out like a normal functioning member of society. I think the people were seeing on the internet are all just looking to jump down someone’s throat and start calling them names.

neither of those places are places where you essentially isolate yourself from the rest of the public and then expose your genitals in any way (even if in a stall) or expel waste from your body. it’s not comparable, this is a bad argument.

I also have to say… im really really not liking this phone just in general. the touch screen or perhaps the software is buggy as hell, like 30% of my swipes don’t actually do anything and just result in a jittery animation playing without switching screens or scrolling or pulling up or down the app tray. It’s fucking annoying, my 5 year old note 10 never had this problem even one singular time. Not only that, but you cant hide the gesture hint permanently stuck to the bottom of the screen… something i’ve been able to do on my note 10 since the day I got it years ago. I think I’m going to return this POS.

im getting tired of responding to multiple 700 page long comments from multiple people so with you im just stopping here and addressing this. By saying that cis women’s opinions and arguments on this are based in transphobia is your point of view and not theirs, they don’t view their argument as transphobic, and frankly neither do I, I just view them as having a different opinion and argument. Therefore, the first part of your sentence is directly conflicted, you ARE saying they shouldn’t have a voice on this topic, because any voice OTHER THAN YOU VOICE is ✨transphobic✨. It’s like calling someone a nazi or something. It’s an overused pejorative term. I yawn.

I think that the point cis woman make is that trans men who transitioned after puberty have different things going on with their bodies that cannot or will not be changed no matter how much work or change is done and then concern is that a bad actor then has the average strength of a male (the general point of view being that sex-males are “generally stronger” than sex-females) will have a physical advantage that a potential female bad actor would (generally) not have. I think that is a valid concern for cis women to have I believe it is a valid discussion to be had. I will not dismiss their point of view or arguments.
