Re-A3000. If your A3000 was killed by Varta, this is the way to go. It's a reproduction of the original A3000 and supports the same features, but offers SMD components and SIMM memory. The satin black gives it great appearance.
A substantial upgrade to an old good Amiga 1000. The GBA1000 offers a speedy MC68030 at 50MHz paired with 8MB of static memory as FastRAM, additionally it has full ECS chipset with 2MB of ChipRAM and Oktagon-compatible IDE controller. Local ZorroII slot and two A500-style expansion slots. It also provides A3000-like Scancoubler and Flickerfixer, but I don't have Amber chip to make it work.
@ActionRetro What does it take to have it hosted? i have my virtualserver basically doing nothing here, just running my private mail.
@LinuxJedi Yeah, if it still works. it's fine. But i've frequently seen these areas so eaten up that all traces just disappeared. And in that case it was a blessing not to need that chip at all.
@LinuxJedi If you encounter problems around these two 74HCT166's near RTC, there is a trick that allows you to remove one of these chips entirely - useful if it's tracks go bad. It only requires a single short bodge wire. In an A4000D it does not perform any function. It only connects to that never used OPTIONS jumper row. It was actually removed in Rev D A4000D. You can compare rev B and D schematics to see how it's different.
@janbeta I wonder what they say for rainbow checkermark Amiga logo ;)
Commenters complaining about me wearing a pride flag Commodore logo shirt in my recent video. Funny how a little rainbow offends certain people these days. I guess Iām going to show even more colors in future videos. š³ļøāšš³ļøāā§ļø
Last weekends Pixel Heaven 2023 in Warsaw. A pic from after-afterparty at the hotel lounge
Does anyone know how to configure Power Mac 4400 CPU voltage regulator? I need to set it down from 2.6 to 2.0v in order to apply this beauty 740L in place of its original 603ev š„°
@MrKsoft Oh that's pretty weird. Mine does not even have PRAM battery and boots just fine.
