I've decided that I will ship this configuration, on Minifree machines. See:

https://libreboot.org/news/policy.html

Libreboot policy is to remove as many blobs as possible, ideally all. Although not yet perfect, the libre raminit is good enough in my testing. I'm using it *myself*, on my own machine (a 9020 SFF).

I'll keep the MRC-based ROMs for now; Libreboot provides both haswell and broadwell MRC, and the libre raminit. So, three types of init per Haswell board. But now I recommend the libre raminit.

#DRM isn't just an annoyance -- it's a violation of your right to use the items you own as you see fit. Learn more about our Defective by Design campaign at http://defectivebydesign.org
@libreleah The connector is called MX2.54 Dupont Connector.
This is the item on aliexpress, so you can see the reference:

@libreleah I've bought the 6 pin version of that connector on Aliexpress for a project. It was very cheap. Maybe it's easier for you and adds virtually nothing in terms of price to recrimp the fan connector with that one instead of cutting and soldering the wires.
Even better, maybe you can purchase only the metal terminals, recrimp the fan cable, and use the connector from the dell fan.
Sometimes it just happens, ya know?

Remember the new @mozilla CEO whose first action was to post a link to her Linkedin profile?

Some said I was harsh that we should let her the benefit of doubt.

So here are the first true actions: firing 60 people working on useless products to focus the company on its true mission.

The useless products?
- Relay (privacy, protection against spam)
- VPN (privacy)
- Mozilla.social (Mastodon)
- Monitor (privacy)

True mission to focus:
- AI (???)

You can’t made that up

PR-007 - Why you don't need React - Thoughts and Ideas

./attachments/00016-2479171298.jpg I'm no coding genius, but I've got the chops and experience, and that's why I'm feeling a tad emotional as I write this. I started with RoR web-apps almost a decade…

Thoughts and Ideas

If you are a citizen of any EU Member State, I implore you to consider signing the Tax-the-Rich citizens' initiative:
https://www.tax-the-rich.eu/

The idea is to tax the super rich and then use the money for climate transition.

This is an official EU citizens' initiative, meaning that if it reaches certain thresholds, it *will have to be* considered by the EU institutions. That's a really powerful tool, if actually used.

So we should use it.
