Sometimes it just happens, ya know?
@Ten I'm in this post and I don't like it.
@alexiswatson @Ten I came here to post this
@Ten This is always forgiven automatically by default. I totally get it
@Ten
Years later too...😅
@Ten Nix the end of that and slip in “…and then I felt so bad about it I didn’t text you, and still won’t, and now I’ve hurt you more because I didn’t want to hurt you.”
@Ten I seem to be doing this with frightening regularity here too. I'd be talking to someone and then I have to run do something else and then I look and see another reply but I'm finishing that something else and then another something, possibly get sidetracked by reading other things, then replying to those and boosting cute stuff, and then half a day passed by the time I notice that I haven't replied and it would be weird if I did it then, after being active in the meantime too...

@sahqon @Ten
TBH, half a day is nothing, no reason to feel bad for replying then

(of course even replying days later usually is better than not at all, but in those cases I kinda get where that "now it's weird to reply" feeling comes from)

@Ten same, and then by the time that I realize, it feels weird to respond so I just don't 😵‍💫
@danherbert I feel exactly the same way.
That’s why I mark messages I want to reply to as unread, so I won’t forget anymore.
@Ten how's that different from i forgot?
@Ten sounds pretty #ADHD 😅
@Tr4bend0 @Ten Yeah lol, somewhat true, when suddenly your brain thinks that the fridge is so interesting
@Ten Tell me about...
If I get a message and can not respond immediately, it happens a lot.
Sorry to everyone that were involved. 😶
@Ten I know this too well.
@Ten I told myself I could do it later but then three days passed and it turned into this giant nexus of dread and shame in my brain so I decided we were no longer friends and now I'm relocating to Latvia to start a new life
