Jardiance does not so much “control” my glucose levels as it does “full body slam from the top rope” hammer them back into place. Effective.

Random weird thought: for the last four or five months I lived in Japan in 2018, I was beset daily by suicidal ideation. I would wonder what it would be like to step out in front of the Kozukue train, or if I fell on some exposed rebar, or jumped off the bridge into the Tamagawa. (I’m okay now. Thanks, medicine!)
But it never seriously occurred to me to start smoking again, even though it was certainly an option. It never even popped up as a consideration.
