PSA: when making Japanese curry, no matter which easy curry cubes you use (but it should be S&B Golden Curry IMHO) and what the directions say, you should brown the onion in lots of butter. Don’t do oil, don’t do all the veg (and proteins) at once. Onions carmelized in butter. Trust me on this.
