Joe PatriceTwitter can ban whoever it wants to. It's a private company & has no obligation to platform anyone. That said, kicking people off for mocking the CEO is a disastrous business model for a business whose only value is the community it's built.
That this purge is being pursued by someone who already announced that he's open to running the company into bankruptcy is... a fact people shouldn't overlook.

Joshua HollandI logged briefly into Twitter and apparently posted one of the last links to a Mastodon account before they stopped allowing them on Twitter. The link triggers a safety warning, but 30 minutes later it wouldn’t have even posted.
I guess the bird app banning journalists has made folks flow here today (and slow everything down).
