According to Buddhism, there is no such thing as "I", yet I have 4 social media accounts. This is the cosy one.
Been away since 2022 for an extra dry January (no alcohol, no social media), coming back to see what's going on.
Best wishes for 2023 to all people of good will! In 2022 I took steps on the path to prose, with three short stories in Dutch literary magazine Hollands Maandblad, a letter to minister Van der Wal, a story for Central Museum in Utrecht and an essay for De Poëziekrant about animals in Dutch poetry. Thanks to ILFU, Poëziecentrum Gent and Hollands Maandblad.!But I wasted a lot of time in 2022 too. That's why I will start 2023 with an Extra Dry January: no alcohol, no social media. CU in a month!

CarveHerName#OnThisDay, 27 Dec 1935, Regina Jonas is ordained as a rabbi in Berlin, the first known ordination of a woman as a rabbi. After her arrest in 1942, she ministers in the Theresienstadt ghetto until she is transported to Auschwitz in October 1944. She dies there within 2 months.
