BrickOwl is a dangerous place for the completist. I picked up the BTTF1 minifigs for pennies in a Smyths Toys sale years ago, the DeLorean came with the 2015 duo and it felt right to complete the set with Doc and Marty in 1885 gear. Really pleased with how they turned out.

When the Astra arrived the other week it crossed my mind that, aside from having quite a similar rear light design, the colour was quite similar to the one on the Mk8 Golf. Dear reader, my memory appears to be fading. They are not at all alike. 🫣

Threw the e-Rifter in at the deep end this week with a family holiday to Devon and it was great. We planned a little; stayed at a cottage with a chargepoint and combined our mid-journey stop (inevitable with three young kids) with a short rapid charge en route there and back. Otherwise, we just used it like any other car. It’s roomy inside, compact outside, comfortable and full of clever ideas. A good start! #weirdcartwitter #peugeoterifter #electriccars

Started my 40th birthday doing something I’d have recognised on my 20th. Gave the Polo a wash for insurance valuation purposes (and renewed with Brentacre). Couldn’t resist grabbing a pic with the newcomer.
