I try to embrace the fact that life and history are in constant evolution. But massive declines in #humanities education (not exactly breaking news) and, now, AI that can write original research papers that may be as good or better than human papers scares me.
Someone at my office tried to turn an empty cubicle into a giant snow globe using plastic sheeting, tiny bits of styrofoam, and an electric leaf blower.
It didn't quite work as planned (styrofoam everywhere!), but I will respect this ambition to the end of my days. 🎄
