@konni No, I do not think any purely technical feature will solve these problems. I think the single driving person behind this software consistently responding around marginalized groups’ complaints that he sees no issue is a root problem. But there’s nothing I can say on this that Dr. Jonathon Flowers hasn’t already said better, here or on Twitter, before or since the thread that started this discussion. @FirefighterGeek That's neat! I'm prescribed Concerta, but my pharmacy provides generic Methylphinedate ER (same ingredient, different release mechanism), but I think it's still also gone from my system by bed time. I'm thinking working on finding good wind down habits would benefit me most.

I've liked reading/posting about med experiences though because it seems like there's such range to how we react.

So the Colorado shooter's lawyers have released a statement saying he's nb and right wing trolls are using that to shift the blame away from their stochastic terrorism, as well as a gotcha when we reject the shooter's self-identification for the obvious ploy that it is. "Oh so NOW self a identification doesn't count?"

@kitation They are SO overlapped it’s scary. I don’t think I have autism, because I can talk with my autistic spouse about root cause vs. expression, and it’s different for us, but given the overlap I ALWAYS pay attention. Do you have ADHD friends you can talk with?

@alexispurslane I’m with you on all this and I really like your reasoning. The CLOSEST I can get to accepting it as identity is seeing the interviews with the shooter’s father, more concerned that his kid might be LGBTQ than homicidal… Even IF being enby was legit & the shooting was internalized issues, this is STILL motivated by trans/homophobic bullshit, clearly, from any perspective. Just… fucking tired seeing the rhetoric here.
