The idea of being "woke" is ridiculous because none of us can transcend beyond our own personal experiences.

The animal liberation movement is rapidly growing, and I'm concerned that leftists are brushing it aside. Not only is it our most surefire way out of impending ecological disaster, it is such an obvious requirement for achieving a upotic anarchist/communist world where there is no class or hierarchy. Animals are sentient; accept it. They have their own unique experiences, just like we do. They too deserve to be free.
Telling other people they shouldn't kill animals doesn't make me feel like I'm "superior" to others. The whole premise of the argument is that humans and non-human animals deserve the same level of consideration and respect. I place human beings at the same level as cows, chickens, and pigs, as opposed to believing we have dominion over them. This is the antithesis of superiority.
If you wouldn't kill a human, you shouldn't kill a non-human animal. Morally speaking, there is no distinction, as both are sentient beings with the capacity to feel pain. A difference in species alone does not justify moral discrimination; a Homo erectus could qualify as a "person" despite being another species. Intelligence is not a reason, when humans with low IQs aren't killed. An animal's life is worth more than a momentary taste sensation. What is your rationalization? There isn't one.
Is it true we're all going to be incinerated by 2040 due to climate change?
