Feel like this is shouting into the void, but all the major sports leagues should be setting up their own Mastodon instances (mlb.social, nfl.social, etc) then giving each team and each player their own account (yankees, aaron.judge, etc). Hell turn on replication to xbird or whatever, but just think what they could do if they controlled the instance.
