@ben The amount of time I seen where valve just doesn't have proper docs to devs is crazy.

Hell, the biggest problem plaguing bug fables is an issue on THEIR SIDE with steam input that the devs have to workaround by...reducing the duration of the Unity splash screen, lol

can't you just take some lorem ipsum and just copy paste a random part of it?

@ben I assume this is one of those, but there's plenty instances I seen where it's more IN PRACTICE infinite, but not in theory where the game COULD stabilise itself, but after....years or more than your entire life or something ridiculous because some part of the softlock involve time tracking

Currently, VRL can load mods and I even have a dependency system and even some tooling with externally parsable mods metadata, but I am waiting for my vacations to start so I can hope to finish the modloading portion and focus on the good stuff: game modding api

how you been doing btw? I'm progressing a lot of VenusRootLoader, a bug fables specific modloader I'm working on. Even made a design doc on how to solve the content ref issue the game has had.

(also, spy cards is def low prio for modding tbh cause you basically need to make an AI to make it work in game, didn't even both to document the internals yet lol)

I got done the VenusRootLoader bootstrap a month ago so here's a progress report of how it went!
