Turned much colder here today and the apple tree has yielded a lot more apples today to the touch. Yesterday I got two off - today 25+

The tree has produced over 200 eating apples this year. Lots of fruit but not quite the quality of previous year. Still good to the taste but skins are a bit more speckled and spotted although still good to eat

Top row in photo are c.2cm bigger in diameter than a tennis ball. Some years we have one or two excessively big, not this year though. Still 15 to pick!
