I wrote a short goodbye post on Reddit as we enter the last hours of Apollo. Today is Apollo for Reddit's last day, and I just released its last update. 🥹 I just wanted to say a big thank you to the folks who have used and supported Apollo over the years, it's been the dream of a lifetime to build this app over the last 9 years. ❤️ Read the eulogy inside! ❤️

@christianselig This fucking sucks. I was a beta tester for your very first TestFlight back in 2015 and it’s been so amazing to see what you’ve done with Apollo since. Looking forward to whatever’s next and I’ll be there to support you!

@ivory not sure if this is a Mastodon limitation but is streaming/pin to top of timeline on Mac coming? Lowkey my favorite feature from Tweetbot.

@ivanpavlov I noticed this issue a month ago and was just going to let it expire. I've noticed on the Mac, I can’t resubscribe either. I just get the “you're currently subscribed to this" prompt that does nothing.

@mark just a suggestion but would it be possible to offer TestFlight to subscribers first? I’ve been dying to try out the Mac app but am always too slow to catch the link when the announcement is made. Wondering how many of those slots are from free users?
