Early @ivory thoughts: It’s like hanging out with an old friend. Tweetbot has been my world related to Twitter for years now. It’s how I know and used the service. @marcoarment called Ivory an almost drop in replacement, and I agree so far. This is good. This is very good. Onto my Home Screen it goes.

Still trying to figure out how I'm going to keep up with news since leaving Twitter. Took a look at Apple News again and it seems like it's a mess. Also redownloaded Flipboard, which was my news consumption app of choice 10 years ago. Might try an RSS app too. This feels so weird.

I wasn't sure where to post this or if anyone would even read this but it feels good to say that I have now deactivated my bird app accounts. It was a fun 15 years. To be honest, I probably should have left 6 years ago when it really went to shit. The world is worse off because of social media and I no longer need to see the noise or contribute to it. This is my only social media account left. We'll see if I stick around and use it but I feel free at last.
