It feels like "--network host" is for Docker the same as prepending sudo to any Linux command that fails to works for some unknown reason.
Yowza!
@ff3 bug - Bills - Next expected match changes based on selected daterange on the top of UI. For monthly bills selecting Today shows the right date (in November 2023), selecting Year To Date shows match in April 2024 for bills that have been paid 3 times this year so far.
@ff3 was a bit disappointed that asset account current_balance_date showed today, even if no transactions have been imported/added to the account for more than a week. Would have expected either date at end of last transaction or datetime of last bank import.
@ff3 inviting a user to my new FF3 instance and them arriving to a completely empty account was .. unexpected :D
I get that some people might be hosting a server for a lot of separate people. But wouldn't a family server a more common use case? Multiple people, but accessing same financial info.
Might be too late now to switch, but an option to share accounts to the invited user would be nicer than sharing passwords.

@ff3 the "Export data" view should have really big and bold text saying "This is NOT a backup! Here is how you make and restore a backup."

I just made this mistake. Backing up Home Assistant from it's web UI and restoring it as the first step of a new installation was so simple that I just assumed that FF3 does the same :D

@ff3 have people suggested to have a default category field for expense accounts? so that transactions created for such expense account would get put into that category, if no other category is specified. only on create/import, naturally, not on edit. could save people a lot of manual managing of automation rules.
@ff3 I kind of *really* want to do what you don't - predict the future: given all the known future bills and known current account balance, what would be the expected balance of all asset accounts on a particular date (usually just before next salary)if there is no more spending?
@ff3 just getting into FF3 nowadays. Any reason why bills/subscriptions are limited to withdrawals? Feels like it would also be a good place to document salary. Also could bills have an asset account where they are expected to be paid out of?
