Also me: Carefully tags 400 photos with a hierarchy of tags (in #darktable) so that they can be culled by comparing to others with the same subject, not just chronologically.

I was helping someone with a large format printer problem- format from client was pdf A1 colour architect site services plans plus some detailed building utilities drawings and it just dawned on me how these were produced made them inaccessible and I wondered if this was an issue to be researched / addressed. @CharliJo Thanks for getting in touch. I was just thinking that as a general principle getting accessibility 'built in' as a starting point is a 'good' approach for all users. I'm thinking of an estimator role or similar who uses tech drawings to cost works but may have a visual disability. All thoughts and suggestions welcome.
OK Here's a #a11y #accessibility question: Is it possible and or appropriate/desirable to consider how to make an architect or technical drawing accessible - especially if it is distributed in a pdf format

Owen KingJust saw a job ad for a postdoc in "Values-Centered AI." Values-centered? That framing is so ignorant.
All modeling and prediction are driven by values. The disagreements are about *which* values to center and how to center them, and therein lies the ethical content. Somehow this basic point is lost on lots of folks who claim to be interested in #AIEthics.
