I think this is the longest I've ever agonized over a bio.

This is an alt account. I'm a middle-aged guy who has always had a slight attraction to leather, hirsuite men, and possibly light bdsm, but never really explored it outside occasionally donning a CB13 harness. This is my attempt to get closer to the community and explore this side of myself a little bit more.

We are but specs of star stuff in an infinitely impossible universe. Let's try to be kind to each other.

More bioI'm partnered, a tv junkie, and work in the email delivery space with a technical focus. We have a beard we lovingly refer to as wifey. She comes over on Fridays to play board games and we will travel together occasionally.

@aphyr trade off between privacy and usability.

You can't use a Tile for stalking like you could with an airtag, since airtags will use any device to phone home and display their location on a map. Aka Apple's 'find my' network.

I know Apple addressed this by notifying users when an unregistered airtag is detected nearby. Sidenote, that must be a nightmare for baggage handlers.

Tile addressed this with the QR code feature which continued to respect privacy while extending the devices range.

@aphyr it's total mathiness to make it look like they did their homework when they didn't. Two of the denominator values cancel each other out (because they used fixed values of 4 and 0.25) so the equation boils down to (exports - imports) / imports.
