Another week of Mojang completely reverting this change for the second time, and not a word about it. The exact same way as last year...

If you were wondering how pack is supposed to look, here you go. It's ugly of course, but it's just supposed to be for demonstration.

Java and Console Aspects 6.0.0 is OUT NOW! This version fixes all the current bugs, improves menu speed, and includes tons of new features from contributors.

Also, Fidelity/Performance versions are gone! Now, item icons are enabled with a separate pack. Item poses for everyone!

Check out all the latest features in my newest update video: https://youtu.be/eLi3oyLQX0c

It even renders through other entities. Who decided to add this?

Was this third-person selection change from the latest Bedrock preview listed in any of the changelogs?

There's no setting to turn it off, and it really messes with the aesthetic... :(

I cannot believe I'm posting this.

Mojang silently deactivated ambient_occlusion_exponent in the latest preview.

They brightness_gamma'd it.

They refused to read the comprehensive reports and fix it properly, so they just disabled it. Again. https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE-188221

Here's my idea on how to add fog to the Pale Garden without changing the panorama: Make it this biome's weather event instead of rain!

Rain already feels out of place in the Pale Garden, so imagine a replacement with thick fog and Creakings roaming during the day.

Extra spooky!

The new Pale Garden panorama tells us two unfortunate things:

1.) Pale Oak Tree shape is set in stone to match Dark Oak
2.) Pale Garden will not have unique fog

This is pretty disappointing, as those are the last two changes I (and many others) wanted to round out the update.

An update is OUT NOW for Preview Hider! This update adds the new Pale Garden panorama as the default pack option.

The update will eventually roll out on CurseForge and MCPEDL, but why wait? You can download the update from this link right now: https://www.mediafire.com/file/ohu5ni7yncvfc01/PreviewHider%25281.1.4%2529.mcpack/file

This feature from the latest snapshot is beautiful! It's the music_definitions.json file from Bedrock Edition but applied to EVERY SINGLE BIOME.

I would still like access to unique music states like menu, creative, boss, and underwater, but this is an excellent start!

Love to see Java Edition getting some of the lovely Bedrock-exclusive resource pack features.
