Hey everyone,
While I've enjoyed exploring Mastodon for a while, the platform has become too much of a frustration instead of enjoyment. I know this is probably disappointing. I am going to be discontinuing this account and no longer engaging on this platform.
I will probably create a Bluesky account in the future, and I will come back to share the link.
In short: The culture here is exhausting. People are more focused on being morally superior than actually discussing anything interesting.
The feature is STILL not working in 1.21.50.29. This definitely has "last preview" vibes with how short the changelog was.
If "ambient_occlusion_exponent" appears in the changelog yet again like the original (reverted) fix did in 1.20.60, I'm going to be pretty salty.
Another week of Mojang completely reverting this change for the second time, and not a word about it. The exact same way as last year...
If you were wondering how pack is supposed to look, here you go. It's ugly of course, but it's just supposed to be for demonstration.

I'm super excited to have this version out the door. It was a huge undertaking, and it sets up Aspects to be in a great place in the future!
This update includes a complete overhaul of the download pages for both packs. The Feature List is now way more readable, and descriptions of the pack options are clear!
Console Aspects has also version-skipped to 6.0.0, so it will always align with Java Aspects in the future.
Java and Console Aspects 6.0.0 is OUT NOW! This version fixes all the current bugs, improves menu speed, and includes tons of new features from contributors.
Also, Fidelity/Performance versions are gone! Now, item icons are enabled with a separate pack. Item poses for everyone!
