Because remembrance without protection is decoration.

Civil, nonviolent, democratic solidarity for Jewish life in the diaspora.

Care • Legal orientation • Witnessing • Education • Culture • Protective presence

Pro Jewish life. Anti-antisemitic. Independent.

The date binds us to a standard.

If we invoke memory, we owe work: accessible education, trusted protection, verifiable documentation, reliable solidarity and infrastructure that holds under pressure.

Remembrance is strongest when it becomes useful. (5/7)

AFA builds civic defense infrastructure:
learning paths, explainers, individual support, community care, anti-fascist documentation, digital self-defense, accessible onboarding and democratic resilience practice.

Ceremony alone will not stop authoritarianism.

Structures might.

So we build structures. (6/7)

Our work names antisemitism clearly.

We study how it works, how it mutates, how it prepares authoritarian politics, and how it harms Jewish life today.

From there, AFA also opposes racism, fascism, queer hostility, ableism and organized dehumanization in any form.

Human dignity is indivisible. (4/7)

Jewish life deserves more than remembrance after violence.

It deserves safety in public, dignity in daily life, trust in institutions, and allies who understand that protection is a practice, not a gesture.

It will be made by ordinary people who refuse to look away, learn before crisis, care before collapse, and build before fear becomes law.

Anne Frank Army (AFA)
Founded on Anne Frank Day, June 12, 2026.

- Never again means: organize. - (7/7)

“Army” means organized civic responsibility.

People who learn, document, protect, explain, care and intervene together.

Civilian, legal, public, accountable.

A formation for democratic self-defense: disciplined enough to act, humble enough to be reviewed. (3/7)

Anne Frank’s story shows how fast exclusion becomes policy, how calmly bureaucracy can serve cruelty, and how dangerous it is when adults decide to wait.

AFA begins from that lesson.
We organize people, knowledge, tools and public courage before authoritarian politics becomes everyday administration.

Remembrance needs consequences. (2/7)

TL;DR: We turn memory into responsibility, and responsibility into infrastructure.

Anne Frank Army (AFA) was founded on Anne Frank Day.

We chose this date as a commitment:
memory must become responsibility, responsibility must become practice, and practice must become infrastructure.

AFA is a civilian anti-fascist project for education, protection, care and democratic resilience protecting jewish life in the diaspora. (1/7)
