@admin i joined cos it's proudly an anarchist space on the internet. i'd hate to see that watered down here or infiltrated by nefarious types.
i think it should be said though, and no offence to you or the work done in maintaining this place which is commendable, that at least for me (and i imagine others), the beauty of the fediverse is its federated quality.
i'd like kolektiva to remain as is, but if it changes too far, i'd sadly have to find another instance which would be a shame. kolektiva is a great meeting place.
anyway, don't want to take up more space but just my thoughts on your query.
