Mornings where I have the time to do a bit of spinning and thread/wool management with my morning coffee are my favourites. I just love spinning so much, it is the strangest sudden hobby of my life. I really would like to be able to create sellable wool, i.e., wool that people would like to knit or whichever with; in time, in time.

I realise that I never properly shared the results of my experiments dying fleece with walnuts I picked up off the street. For a first go, I couldn't be happier with the outcome! I didn't bring the spun wool quite to the boil, as I did with the fleece. Extremely satisfying; I'm looking forward to spinning it. I've plenty of dye left over so will try some of my more recent, slightly better-spun wool this time!
