Silvio RizziI guess it's time for an update on what I've been working on over the last year: A new app, completely rebuilt and rethought from the ground up. This probably won’t replace the current Reeder (not going away) for a lot of users.
It's not just an RSS reader. The app allows you to access content from various other sources like Podcasts, YouTube, Mastodon, and more.
It won't sync everything, only your saved items (favorites etc).
No more unread counts, it remembers the scroll positions instead.

stephen m 🍞🌹🇵🇸@arstechnica I am of the opinion that we should embrace this, I honestly look forward to connecting with people who decided to take the threads path. I dont want us to also be walled off, the only difference is that we could make it democratically instead of top down decisions, I respect that but think what if we blocked all gmail email accounts...?

Eugen Rochkomastodon.social, mastodon.online and joinmastodon.org were hit by a DDoS yesterday, thankfully joinmastodon.org was already behind Fastly so it didn't have any impact on it. We've now moved mastodon.online behind Fastly and will do the same with mastodon.social soon.
