After plowing through a bit of snow, I got the V85 out of storage and had a nice ride back into town.
There were a handful of other bikers out, and everyone did the 'bike wave' with noticeable enthusiasm.

This week, the genetic testing company 23andMe filed for bankruptcy, which means the genetic data the company collected on millions of users is now up for sale. If you don't want your data included in any potential sale, it’s a good time to ask the company to delete it.
I also don't like to conform. Plus, I do take my bike on long trips (see my Epic Road Trip from 2023 here: https://advmoto.ca/2023/11/emt-index/) and getting it fixed anywhere that has a powesports dealer is huge. But BMW is remarkable in the draw they have, bringing consumers into the space.
If not for their success there would be no HD Pan America.
@Sir_Osis_of_Liver I was there to support my brother. But yes... The 1300GSA was quoted to us, fully loaded, as $40,000 CDN. That is over twice what I paid for my Africa Twin, which is such a great bike.
The salesman was so blasé... The bikes clearly only need him involved to process paperwork. It's sad really.
