Visa backlogs in German and US consulates are ruining the career plans of so many people, including me and many of my friends 😓 sadly, there's nothing an applicant could do except wait. German consulates are worse. There is no update on estimated time or waiting list sequence. Like you just have to send out an application into void and hope you are in the waiting list.
