I've put together a panel plugin for xfce. Its a Windows 7 style volume mixer. There is a similar project for KDE. Its still a WIP so I would love to collab and get some PRs going.

@256 They loved to do those weird up close sort of fish eye shots of people back then. Did they think it was funny or cute or something? Also the Fry's logo at the bottom lol. There is a Fry's in my city that has been abandoned for like more than a decade now.
