@tomcat I'll speak for me. I always do. So ... I started off on mastodon.world because that's how it is on Blue Bird. But very quickly I found that the people I really wanted to get to know were mostly UK based. Only because there was more commonality than with others around the world. I'm slowly coaxing non UK friends to give Mastodon a go.
So I applied for an invite to Mastodon app.uk and am still waiting. No stress here as I've not got an agenda. I'll wait and see what happens.
I'm here because I was treated unkindly on Twitter and Facebook.

We are so lucky to have this woodland directly behind our house. This village is what we left London for.

@msocsci I use it all the time to communicate with my friends in Germany, France and Italy. It's very good in German and friends in Italy seem happy with it. . Just wish that Google added an English to American so I can understand what the **CK was going in over there..... 😂
Also .. surprised that the Apple keyboard does not have similar feature. I've always been an android guy so take these kind of things as granted...
