Gia Milinovich

I thought I'd do an introduction cos that seems to be the done thing here at the moment.

I'm currently doing an MA in Fine Art. I'm interested in metamodernism, film/tv and screen studies generally.

I'm a science groupie. I'm very comfortable in reality and don't understand why you'd want anything else, really, cos it blows my mind all the time.

@giagia Good to see you here Gia. In the early 00s, you helped me understand and respark my interest in science, which I had hated at school. "He"(!) built on it later.

@giagia Came for Charlie's comedy, stayed for someone nearer my own age who was having fun with tech and science (yeah, I was one of the happy few that saw The Kit!). I had been conditioned to think fun and science were mutually exclusive. Then Electric Dreams, and followed you since. You're one of the reasons I do what I do now. Thank you.

@ChrisTheDj Oh. My. Goodness. That's AMAZING! The Kit was so much fun. One of about two programmes I did where it was just 100% enjoyable!

@giagia The happiest 7 years of my professional life so far were spent writing dumb, pun-filled tech news. Even now I'm on a crusade to dejargonise and explain wherever I can.
