Peaceful cousin of Albert Cashier who was born in the 1800s. Older Trans man in Central MA, Artist, Genealogist, and lots more. Keepin' it weird.
trying to get on one care, filled out online form, called a phone number that was identified as after hours informational number. after being misgendered by every person I talked to, (6 in all), was transferred back to the original number which was then closed. Conclusions: 1. people filter trans as trans female, not trans male, and no matter how you explain it still get it wrong. 2. outside of MA nobody can say Worcester. 3. Don't waste time with customer service after hours.
@jessimurray Yes, she's adorable.
Thank you to women of color, because without them, our US democracy would have been lost this time around. I am very grateful.
@AHPhousing well yes, it worked out, but we were forced to take a variable interest loan on a 2nd mortgage for our roof and we are dealing with that... I suspect eventually to refinance. Now's not the best timing, though.
@oh I guess if your home server is small, that doesn't leave very much room for interaction. To me, that says if you are small and mastodon decides to unenfranchise you, that means you die, or you just continually talk amongst yourselves. A closed network is not necessarily a bad thing if your network is about something that needs security.
@gregorysherrow for testosterone there are auto injector pens which are actually made for cis men which some trans men are getting covered by insurance due to needle phobia. I use an auto injector pen for trulicity which is a different non trans related drug. I can tell you that with my anxiety, the pen is not totally anxiety free, but soo much easier (research xyosted) and also maybe "inject ease" which is an auto injector pen kit which I've never actually heard anything about. Just found it.
@smallsco @dec_hl @maartje awesome. I don't need those, but it is good to know that people who use old computers have options.
@copter_chief he's probably button pushed because people think he is so stupid for not knowing what freedom of speech actually is.
@Pineywoozle these kinds of conversations & interpretations can bring joy to a day.
@AHPhousing Yes, but to get that kind of urgent housing you almost have to be living on the street. We were waiting for 7 years before we started to get the invitations to apply, only to apply and get zip. by 10 years on the waiting list, we'd given up, and a death in the family enabled us to buy a house in Central MA. We lucked out and got it in 2019 before covid and the rush on houses pushed the price up.
