With the arrival of harvest season, we thought it was the right time to look at examples of wheat weaving from our Yvonne Milspaw Collection. Though these samples originate from various locations, the practice has been active in Pennsylvania. The intricate, decorative straw work serves to celebrate the harvest. I’m delighted. I’ve just received my pre-release copies of “Emerging Perspectives in the Study of Folklore and Performance” from Indiana University Press! It has been a joy and an honor to work with them, our wonderful authors, and my fantastic co-editor Solimar Otero. The book I edited with the wonderful Dr. Solimar Otero is available for preorder with Indiana University Press. Check it out and order your copy! https://iupress.org/9780253072740/emerging-perspectives-in-the-study-of-folklore-and-performance/
