PSA: Did you know that it’s **unsafe** to put code diffs into your commit messages?

Like https://github.com/i3/i3/pull/6564 for example

Such diffs will be applied by patch(1) (also git-am(1)) as part of the code change!

This is how a sleep(1) made it into i3 4.25-2 in Debian unstable.

I love how vibecoded commits are called vommits. It's so perfect.
Seems like Mastodon escapes the HTML bits before JS loads them in (like it does on a normal browser), so that didn't work. I got a successful webmention from my blog to my blog using another blogpost, though: https://aashvik.com/posts/testing-webmentions
Great article on aashvik.com! Just kidding, I’m trying to test webmentions. Here: https://aashvik.com/posts/dsc-h55-dummy

Why hello there 👀

Over a year has passed since the last release, and to celebrate all the changes that have been made since, we’ll be hosting a release party on the Official Veloren Server (server.veloren.net) with an array of party activities! Be sure to join us at 18:00 UTC on January 24! We'll also be streaming on the Official Veloren Youtube channel!

Come join us in the festivities by using `/location party` when you join the Official Server!

Wrote (codedumped) a bit about that SSG: https://aashvik.com/posts/shell-ssg
an ssg written in shell

Notes on writing this site's new, mildly cursed, and fun static site generator in (mostly) POSIX shell.
