I killed an icebreaker thread in my work's queer ERG chat.

The icebreaker question was: "What hope do you have for the future of our LGBTQIA+ community 10 years from now?"

Lots of responses, several of them starting with "As an ally..."

My reply was:
"I would like to be able to travel to Florida again."

It's been four hours and there have been no more replies.

Don’t even ask me how I got this idea, because I don’t (want to) know.

"How do I automatically label items in an enumerate list?"

500 answers: "Why would you do that? Don't you know it's brittle? Here's an alternative answer that doesn't do what that, because you're clearly too stupid to know what you're asking."

@dthompson reading your ā€œFunctional reactive user interfaces with propagatorsā€, and enjoying it! While I’m unable to juggle as many concepts as you do, I’m still learning a lot, especially regarding Guile/Scheme idioms. And the (logand x 15) == (mod x 16) is a neat trick!
@weirdwriter I should’ve mentioned you instead, sorry šŸ™ˆ
@blindscribe the single-element ordered list of pay-per-post alternatives to Patreon in ā€œWhy I left Patreonā€ is a hilarious element of the post! Thank you for this moment of stupor and laugh I had on it šŸ–¤
