@macrumors LOL MacRumors is once again predicting a new Apple TV in September. They were wrong about 2024. They were wrong about 2025. For over a year and a half they’ve been writing articles claiming that the new Apple TV release was “imminent”. Clearly at this point they are just posting this stuff as clickbait.
@caseyliss Is there really no difference between Studio Display 1 and 2 other than better webcam and speakers? That’s a shame. Well I guess that’s $2000 saved. Maybe they’ll improve it next refresh 5 years from now.
@daringfireball good grief…less than 10 minutes in and you’re already ruining about Tahoe again. It’s getting old. We get it. You don’t like it.

It really seems like much of the iOS 26 complaining has devolved from discussing legitimate issues at first into whining about petty issues just to keep the narrative artificially going.
The “normals” in my life who don’t follow Apple analysis from day-to-day had no comments about iOS 26 once they passed the initial “this looks different” phase.
@daringfireball Well at least you’ve found a new shiny object to complain about to distract from all your recent Tahoe complaining.
@daringfireball Apple said it would be out by the end of 2026. None of these rumors contradict that (iOS 27 will be out before the end of 2026). Unfortunately it's not fast enough for the Apple commentators, but nothing ever is.
When it's 1/1/27 and we don't have the new Siri, then you can complain that it's "delayed again". Until then it's just whining about rumors.
@JasonAnthonyGuy @caseyliss My only available offers were to buy a new phone from Verizon. I’ve been a Verizon customer since 2000 so I guess they know I’m not actually leaving. 😐 (we have 5 lines, unlimited plan for several of them)

Because you’ve long gone past constructive criticism (constructive criticism is good) and moved on to complaining, and are teetering on the edge of whining.
That your guest said he didn’t even notice something was an issue until he read about it somewhere tells me it wasn’t actually an issue for him and he’s just complaining for the sake of complaining.
