@polychrome @TritTriton Well...Contra was technically a side scrolling shooter with multiplayer... and I think the game "To The Earth" on NES had multiplayer in it...cant remember though.

@polychrome I think its a bug with warframes launcher in steam. When I played, the updater, when launched from the steam install, refused to update. Had to install the standalone version to get it to play again.

My favourite Windows hacks:
- explorer.exe, but cool
- StartIsBack (Win10) or StartAllBack (Win11) which brings back the old start menu while having a native look (or your own)
- Fluent Design Flyouts
- PowerToys which include numerous small improvements for Windows
