@TritTriton early 80's home computers used to support multiple joysticks/inputs and had multiple games for real time multiplayer, yeah. But in this case they're talking about shooters specifically.
@polychrome@TritTriton Well...Contra was technically a side scrolling shooter with multiplayer... and I think the game "To The Earth" on NES had multiplayer in it...cant remember though.
