Lets us Sunny Gardeners do a quarterly group art with a stereotypical new year theme of "refresh." It's cliche but we need some positivity in the new year. Anyone is welcome to join and share. I'll post whatever I create and feel free to do as many as you want!

Hi all! I'm going to gather my supplies and show you some resources on art journaling. I teach a class and will flip through some of my lessons. Sorry it takes me days to respond, please be patient with me as I navigate anxiety and depression. In the meantime, check out my 2022 spread on my page! I'm very proud of it as I've had a very emotional year and it came out in my art.
If you're interested in the process, an art journal is another way to process thoughts or feelings. I found many colors or materials would represent certain things or help me while in certain moods. I've seen many people use this tool and everyone approaches it differently. I'll see about going through some of my books on art journaling and making recommendations.
(Ps- Art journaling is not the same thing as art therapy.)
