@midnightspire Exactly right! It's a Moray Eel... that's what I was going for. Moray Eel's have a very distinctive look. Very different from all other types of eels. Thanks for replying. I'm happy that my pixel art was good enough that you identified exactly what sea creature is.

very nice dude, I really like it. is this for a particular game or project? It's a bakery right? That looks like a loaf of bread on the sign and it's right next to a windmill which is where the grain is crushed into flour for the bakery to use, right?

How's this pixel art? Please guess what sea creature this is so I can find out if I captured it's likeness. It's for my GB Color RPG SeaTropilis. This is the first enemy for the game. And it's my first real game, I've been working on it for a year but not everyday just every now and then. I've spent a lot of time building the intro now I'm up to the battle engine and first level. yes it's my first. obviously if it wasn't my first I'd be used to waiting years to receive the product. It's already been a massively long wait. I want to start game dev on it and play all the games I bought when I was excited about it. the enthusiasm has died down now I'm not that excited about it anymore since it's been so long.

@retrosteveuk man I used to like Spectrum Next videos, but since the 3rd Kickstarter got delayed I've started avoiding videos and looking up anything Next related. It just feels like it’s never gonna arrive, so I don’t want to torture myself with something I may not get. I'm not buying any more games for it until (or if) it arrives. All my excitement hit a brick wall when the Xmas release got delayed. I hope I can get excited about it again, but currently I can't even watch videos about it.

@elhowieson why is this appearing on mastond.gamedev.place?? this is confusing. i get that people are passionate about politics by why talk about it on a gaming forum? post it in a political forum. gaming is the exact opposite of politics. when Im gaming or looking up games the last thing I want to think about is politics

@VEXED nice dude! full time pixel artist is a great job, all the best to your new occupation. I've only just started with pixel art. mainly as part of my Game Boy Color project but I also have put some of my graphics up for sale. I would be happy to get one sale but too many people offer free pixel art so people prefer that rather than paying an artist $2 or $3 for their work. I download free games and art too but I also buy and donate. but no-one ever reciprocates 😞

@Beldarak hence the term COOL CAT. they know how to chill, any kind of disturbance and they are a ghost. all they want is peace and quiet. I wish people were like them but people love drama. no wonder Egyptians worshiped them. if cat's ruled the world everything would be chill and there would be a lot less rodents. that's it I'm voting for cats for president of the world! btw those paprika chips look very tasty, which brand? Lays? i use smoky paprika liberally in cooking which why I ran out
