So this showed up in my youtube algorithm and for a half a second I thought I had missed a major announcement from @LoadingReadyRun
@ldottxt I've thought about this a lot, and while I personally don't believe what I'm about to say, I think a lot of folks do. I think they see it as another relatively minor risk in their lives, and assume it won't happen to them. Like driving a car, people know it's dangerous but continue to do it because they have to in order to participate in society to the extent that they want. It would be safer to take the bus, but slightly more inconvenient, and it'll probably never happen to me, right?
Windows seems to have killed File History, which was an incredibly easy to use local to local backup solution with versioning. Does anyone know of a good alternative for Win11?
