Wow. That we have to do this is effing sad.
Speaking of sad: This is what my spouse received at work - he's a school bus driver for a small district.
I'll try and add Alt text later.

Things are really tough right now. We’re struggling to cover basic expenses and get out of our hole while I'm looking for work. It’s tough to be on the bottom but we’re hopeful! Any help is appreciated.

It's sad how many people in the US lack simple empathy for others.
I like seeing the posts with a white background on here. I forgot the app did this.

Wow, is the NY Times sucking up to Trump big-time or what?

Awww, damn. We sometimes ended up auditioning for the same roles, so I'd see her in the casting offices.

Teri Garr, of 'Tootsie,' dies at 79

The quirky comedy actor who rose from background dancer in Elvis Presley movies to co-star of such favorites as “Young Frankenstein” and “Tootsie,” Teri Garr has died. She was 79. Garr died Tuesday of multiple sclerosis “surrounded by family and friends,” said publicist Heidi Schaeffer. “Young Frankenstein” established her as a talented comedy performer, with New Yorker film critic Pauline Kael proclaiming her “the funniest neurotic dizzy dame on the screen.” Although best known for comedy, Garr showed in such films as “Close Encounters of the Third Kind,” “The Black Stallion” and “The Escape Artist” that she could handle drama equally well.
