How does this work? You watch 100’s of ~10 second videos in a row for hours?

I have never tried tiktok and only saw some YouTube shorts. I see one or two and it annoys me because it’s clipped badly, gives bad information, or just shows something meaningless.

Even if it was great content, my brain just couldn’t stay focused beyond a couple videos. The constant changes to a new video would be exhausting for me.

I did notice it is getting really buggy lately. What would you recommend instead for something similar as someone who used to use Apollo?

Same here except I am actually married. But besides her I don’t have any friends or family. Parents were neglectful and gave me up in childhood. Got passed around to random places every few weeks until my 18th birthday.

I don’t know if it’s because I have autism or just never learned how to connect with people. I can make friends for a couple weeks but then people just drop out of my life. Maybe I am too boring or just don’t have the skills to go beyond acquaintances. Also where do you even meet people once you are in your 30’s.

Boss forced everyone to come into work because she was tired of using tech. Wanted people to come in and eat ice cream while brainstorming with flashcards. Said anyone not there is fired.

Well she didn’t put any effort into planning it, and it was very inefficient so everyone ended up using their computers like they had been doing at home. Just with more distractions and needing to commute. Not much work got done so everyone needed to work from home that night after hours to meet deadlines.

Well it turns out the guy passing out icecream was also passing out covid. Every single person on the team got sick. None of the projects were completed and the entire department was shut down. Everyone lost their jobs.

The boss herself is still unemployed over a year later because she is now disabled with long covid. Has a heart problem from it where she can pass out at random times. Can no longer taster icecream.

Everyone I know in my area showers about twice a week. Every day seems bizarre to me but it’s a cold climate so maybe it’s different? Sweating almost never happens at all.

Bringing up pronouns as a straight man can become counterproductive because it just riles up the right to go after trans people.

Really it’s all about respect and situational awareness. If you are in a generally liberal area, working with the LGBT community, have trans people around, etc then go for it. But if you are around a bunch of maga guys and nobody is trans don’t bother.

The purpose of saying gender is to create an environment where people feel safe to casually say whatever pronouns they feel like. No big deal.

Now that you mention it, I forgot that I blocked those meme communities because it didn’t interest me.

Not sure what the average age on those are, just figured they had different tastes.
